Experience

Capgemini

Senior Frontend Developer

I'm currently working for Capgemini. I have had the chance to work with the following clients:

Solar Digital (A Caterpillar company)
I'm currently working as a Frontend developer within a SCRUM team focused on building Angular 8 applications. My daily tasks include development with Typescript, Unit testing with Karma/Jasmine, e2e Testing with Protractor. I'm getting experience in CI/CD with Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repo management, NPM artifacts, etc). Also, I have had the chance to work on Angular generic components to be used as part of the UI Framework of the company.

Morgan Stanley
I was part of a UI team who develops the Morgan Stanley Online (MSO). The website was a set of standalone Angular applications, so I coded in Typescript on a daily basis. We were in charge of creating screens and common components that we packed as an NPM package so they could be reused across the different MSO applications. I also used to write unit tests with Karma/Jasmin and automation tests with Protractor/Gerkin. We were working Agile with SCRUM.

Senior Frontend Developer

Softtek

Softtek is one of the biggest Mexican companies that offer outsourcing services for several clients all around the world. Personally, I have worked on several projects for different clients like:

General Electrics
Currently, I’m working as a senior frontend developer contractor for General Electrics. We are developing a mobile app for GE Health Care department called "GE Health Care Hub", which is an app where every employee of GE and their relatives can access to some resources and benefits they have related to health care as well as some other useful information.

I’m using frameworks like AngularJS and JQuery to consume web services and retrieve the information which is displayed as a "native" application for Android and iOS devices using Phonegap.

Hewlett Packard
I worked on a project for HP for 2 months. We were developing a tool where retailers and vendors could provide feedback and statistics to HP about their sales. I was in charge of the UI components with another front-end developer, defining the look and feel of the components based on HP styling conventions. I mostly worked with HTML5/CSS3/JS.

AIMIA Inc
I had the chance to work for a company witch it’s focused on loyalty campaigns based in Minnesota. I was part of its UX Development Team and I always found myself working side by side with the designer of the team.

My main task was to develop a responsive version of the “Hallmark Card Rewards Program” which is a part of the main site of Hallmark where customers can redeem rewards. I mostly used my HTML5/CSS3 skills taking Bootstrap Framework as a starting point, then I used JS (JQuery) not only to add animations and behaviors to the website but because of the peculiarity of the project to consume REST services from Hallmarks API.

Frontend Developer

VirKet Holding/G4A

I worked for a digital marketing agency as a frontend web developer using HTML5/CSS3/JQuery technologies. I was part of a 10 member team working in a project called “Local Dash”, which is a dashboard that compiles information from different statistics APIs in order to measure the marketing impact of a website or a PPC Campaign.

Although it was not my role sometimes I had to support the backend development process fixing bugs or implementing new features using the CodeIgniter PHP Framework.

Apr 2013 - Dec 2013

Programmer

CIMSC

I worked on a software development company focused on web-based government software. Mostly I worked with a platform called Genexus, a software platform that is able to deploy applications to different languages, in our case C#/ASPX and SQL Server.

My main task was to develop new features and maintain the existing code, being part of the whole process since translating the client requirements to code the backend as well the frontend of each module of the project.

Also, I was responsible for test the SQL queries to the database, optimize them and perform complex queries to extract specific information from big databases.

Dec 2012 - Apr 2013

Web Developer

VIRTUAL Marketing

Virtual Marketing is a small company focused on making websites for different customers. I was in charge of developing and maintain several projects using HTML/CSS/JQuery and WordPress as a CMS.

My main task was to convert PSD files into working WordPress themes sometimes from scratch and sometimes modifying existing ones. Also if the project needed I had to develop custom plugins for WordPress to match the client requirements.
